Swimming Pool, Pool Deck, Hardscape Patio, Superior Retaining Wall

This backyard project overcame a challenging property layout to create a complete outdoor living space with a custom swimming pool, large pool deck and substantial retaining-wall system. Rhine reshaped and stabilized the site so the pool could be positioned safely while still leaving generous room for lounging and entertaining.

The nearly 600-square-foot pool reaches approximately six feet deep and uses bull-nosed PA Bluestone coping with Raku Cobalt waterline tile. An approximately 1,800-square-foot Nicolock Stoneridge and Stoneridge XL paver patio surrounds the pool, complemented by natural-stone walls and steps. Rhine also coordinated drainage, fencing, planting-bed preparation, landscaping and site restoration, creating a finished backyard rather than simply installing a pool.
