Swimming Pool, Pool House, Water Slides, Pergola, Fireplace, Patio

This multi-phase backyard transformation combines a swimming pool, pool house, hardscape patio, pergola, natural-stone fireplace and extensive landscaping into one connected outdoor living environment. The upper patio creates separate areas for fireside seating, a garden, pergola and hot tub, with stone steps and paths guiding the transition toward the pool below.

The pool level adds room for swimming and entertaining, including water-slide access, while the pool house expands the space with storage, an outdoor kitchen, fire pit and lounge area beneath an arched ceiling. By coordinating structures, hardscaping and landscape design across several elevations, Rhine created a backyard that feels cohesive from end to end—representative of the company’s larger outdoor living projects throughout Howard County and nearby Maryland communities.
