Hardscape Patio, Outdoor Living Space

For this project near Reisterstown, Rhine created a backyard master plan around a sloped site, with special attention to grading, drainage, structural stability, and usable outdoor living space. The solution centers on a multi-level hardscape patio connected to a new Trex deck.

The upper level provides generous room for dining and lounge furniture, while a retaining wall with integrated planting beds transitions to the lower patio and hot-tub area. The tiered design helps the backyard feel organized and intentional while making better use of the grade change.
